    I gather all the supporting documents required for my vehicle registration application.

    My application is recorded in the SIV (Vehicle Registration System).

    My application is submitted

    The digital application is sent to the Imprimerie Nationale (French National Printing Office) for my vehicle registration document to be made.

    I receive my provisional registration document

    I receive a provisional registration document (CPI - Certificat Provisoire d’Immatriculation).

    I receive a detachable receipt.

    My registration document is made

    The Imprimerie Nationale (French National Printing Office) makes my vehicle registration document (known as "carte grise" in France).

  6. 6

    I receive my vehicle registration document

    My vehicle registration document is then sent to my home by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
