At the beginning of each year, the amount of fees charged for registering a vehicle can change as a result of the regional tax set by the regional council and the Finance Act in force.

The European Directive of 17 November 2003 harmonises the conditions for re-use of public sector information in the European Union.
As a result, the law of 17 July 1978, amended on 20 April 2009, concerning various measures to improve relations between the government and the public, provides for the possibility of making information held by the government available to public or private persons for purposes other than those for which it was collected.
