You have one month to register the change of registrant.
Only the registrant named on the vehicle registration document is entitled to make the request.
- You must be in possession of the transfer code (provided by the seller).

6 documents to provide
If you are doing this for someone else, you will need to provide a power of attorney and proof of identity.
If the application requires further verification, documents may be requested by the processing department such as:
- The transfer code (sent by the seller when the declaration of transfer is registered in the Vehicle Registration System, the SIV)
- The crossed-out vehicle registration document, dated and signed by the seller.
- The paper declaration of transfer (cerfa 15776*02)
- The application for a vehicle registration certificate (cerfa 13750*07)
- A vehicle lien release (CSA) less than 15 days old.
- A roadworthiness certificate less than 6 months old (if the vehicle is more than 4 years old)

Once you have logged in to your space with your FranceConnect identifiers:
- Click on the “New Request” button
- Select "Registration",
- Select the "Make another request" service
- 2Getting started
- Enter the transfer code given by the seller or enter the certificate number and date of the vehicle registration document
- Fill in the details of the registrant from the vehicle registration document
- 3Confirm your request
- Check the information in the process summary
- Read and tick the legal conditions of use
- Pay by credit or debit card.
- 4Follow the request’s progress in your ANTS space
